It was only a matter of time before President Trump went around the courts who overturned his first travel ban and issued another to show how serious he is about this immigration issue. He got his vengeance on the liberals, judges, and Muslims who thought they had won with what else he added to the order today that has Muslims insanely pissed off.
When it was Obama signing executive orders in the middle of the night when nobody was looking at his secret destruction, liberals praised him for his “leadership.” Now that Trump’s pen is taking action, the left is in complete meltdown, revolting against every decision he puts in place but at the end of the day, he’s still the one in charge. Not only did he just slap the grin of a win off their faces, they are back to being banned from entering the U.S. and just found out what else this entails that they weren’t expecting.
The revised travel ban, previously and erroneously referred to as a “Muslim ban” by liberals, cannot be challenged since it’s legally enforceable — effectively tying the hands of Muslim sympathizers who would stop at nothing to let the potential terrorists into America. It puts a 90-day travel ban on people coming from Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen. Although the prior order prevented travel from Iraq, this one does not, as well as it not longer gives Christians priority since that was something that Trump had to concede to in order to make this order unchallengeable.
As a new addition to the ban, Trump also suspended the entire refugee program for the next 120 days, preventing 50,000 refugees from entering anytime in the next four months, according to Jezebel. This will give authorities time to solidify the vetting process which is imperative to our safety.
“Like every nation, the United States has a right to control who enters our country and to keep out those who would do us harm,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said today during the press conference, Fox News reported.
Obama had announced that he wanted to allow 110,000 refugees into America in 2017, but Trump axed that idea immediately with the first ban and kept to the previous limitation of just 50,000 refugees, who will now have to wait a few more months from their revised freebies. This essentially cuts out all the would-be terrorists and ensures the program is people actually suffering real religious persecution, not those who are wanting to bring it here and turn America into the Middle East
