Just one hour after ruining the chance to repeal ObamaCare, House Speaker Paul Ryan was photographed rushing to a secret meeting in a residential neighborhood of Washington DC. Ryan was not with his Secret Service. Instead, he got together with the driver and lead agent for former President Barack Obama. A reporter who saw Ryan leave with them, revealed:
“HE WAS FULL OF SMILES. IT WAS AS IF HE HAD JUST ACCOMPLISHED A MISSION THAT HE HAD BEEN WORKING ON FOR MONTHS.”
This provoked all sorts of speculations, and because of that, Trey Gowdy (R-South Carolina) called on Ryan to answer some questions off the record. According to Gowdy’s top aide, Mandy Gonsales, Ryan was less than willing to cooperate:
“HE TOLD ME TO TELL MR. GOWDY TO GO F*CK HIMSELF. HE SAID HE’S THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE AND THAT HE DOESN’T ANSWER TO ANYONE.”
Gowdy didn’t let Ryan get away with something like that. However, he wouldn’t get into a conflict by confronting Ryan. Instead, Gowdy reminded the House Speaker that he does, in fact, answer to the American people and that the committee he chairs, The House Committee On Investigations And Political Posturing, is the voice of those people. Gowdy may not have authority over Paul Ryan, but he can call him as a witness, reports Conservative Nation.
Gowdy also added him to the committee’s “hostile witness” list, which means that he can push him a little bit harder on issues regarding our national security. Considering the suspicion that Ryan is part of Obama’s Deep State shadow government, his actions could very well be considered treacherous.
